It’s now well-and-truly evident that the Nike Dunk will be playing a big part in Nike’s plans for the foreseeable future, with the silhouette’s catalog filling up to the brim with releases for the second half of 2020 and well into 2021. From the return of 2001’s Japan-exclusive “Samba” to OG High reissues in 2021 — and a slew of hyped-up collabs for Holiday 2020 — it should come as no surprise that there’s even more in store. This time, though, it’s even more exclusives for the ladies to go along with seven previously-previewed Lows, and four incoming High versions of the Dunk. Joining that epic lineup ahead is this Nike Dunk High “Varsity Purple”, one in which its “ladies-exclusive” title is bound to get the men irate.
A release date for the pair has not yet been set, but you should expect to see it roll out before the year’s end at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com for $120.
Update 09.18.20 According to @PY_Rates, the Nike Dunk High “Varsity Purple” will be releasing on December 3rd, 2020.Update 11.19.20 Official images for the Nike Dunk High “Varsity Purple” has now arrived, showing the pair’s glorious jelly-translucent outsole for the first time. It also highlights lux satin liners and golden branding hits at the tongue.
