Where to Buy the Nike Dunk Low “Lemon Drop”

When life gives you lemons, make sneakers. That seems to be the theme for footwear brands, who have turned a pretty shitty 2020 into several sweet lemonade-themed releases. First, it was a trio of Air Max 1sinspired by the original Powerwall release, then adidas delivered a freshly-squeezed Frozen Lemonade ZX 8000 — even Jordan Brand athlete Jayson Tatum joined in on the fun with a Pink Lemonade Air Jordan 35 PE. Now, the citrus theme carries over to the Nike Dunk, with this ladies-exclusive “Lemon Drop” Nike Dunk Low next to squeeze out a lemon-flavored colorway.

Starting out with a heavily-tumbled sail leather upper, the pair packs on pith-colored overlays in very fine suede. From there, the theme takes it up a gear, with lemon skin-textured Checks resting above a more obvious embroidered motif at the lateral ankle. Rear overlays arrive in a more traditional lemon hue — here in patent — and are matched at the insole and tongue branding, the latter resting atop a thick mesh tongue. Completing the design is a set of lemon laces, a clean white midsole, and a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole.
