NYC’s Chromat Collaborate on a Trio of Reebok Instapump Furys
The New York City-based fashion label, Chromat, was founded by Becca McCharen-Tran in 2010. With Becca’s background in architecture and urban-street design drawing inspiration from NYC, Chromat develops garments for everyone and all sizes. Combining this ethos with a sneaker icon to create a unique collaboration trio, Becca has linked up with the Bok for three options of the Chromat x Reebok Instapump Fury.
The build across the trio of color options is identical; mesh uppers, synthetic pump cage units, and a rubber segmented sole units underfoot are consistent across the three pairs, with the key differences lying in the vibrant color palettes. First up we see a sunburst cage unit, yellow-to-orange-to-pink mesh upper, and a black rubber sole unit with pink and blue segments. Second up, blue cage unit and complete with black line design, blue mesh with a slight gradient from light to dark, blue to black sole unit, and hits of orange located on the toe box, rear midsole, and branding. Last but not least, yellow-to-green gradient cage unit with matching line design to its sibling, light blue mesh upper, black rubber sole unit with light blue and green hits, and yellow toe box. All three designs feature a linked male and female symbology to form an infinity sign located on the heel.
