GORE-TEX Gives the Reebok Instapump Fury a Utilitarian Overhaul
In its quarter of a century existence, the Reebok Instapump Fury has rarely seen an overhaul as big as this, with the Bok enlisting a world-renowned fabricator for a special-edition release this Fall.
Rather than a straightforward material interjection, the GORE-TEX x Reebok Instapump Fury sees a complete overhaul to the Steven Smith-designed silhouette. In true utilitarian style, the sneaker is upgraded with a higher cut through a neoprene bootie, added access pulls, and zip locks at the forefoot. Pump systems have been shifted to the lateral side, while uppers are comprised of the collaborative partner’s signature weave. It’s not all-new, though, with the sole unit’s negative space still intact, and what other colorway would you choose but the OG “Citron” to display such an overhaul?
Grab an official look at the collaborative redesign here below, and look for these gaudy jawns to hit select global retailers like Foot District and Overkillcome September 15th.
