Power Rangers x Reebok Club C Arrives June 15th

Power Rangers, or Super Sentai if you’re a fan of the original, has been reinvented more times than the wheel. With its long-running franchise notching up 46 years on air, you can be sure that the TV Asahi series has plenty of inspirations to look over when Reebok gave them the call-up to do their own Club C. Fittingly for most, the two parties are throwing it back to 1993’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers — the first series to debut in most Western countries.

In what will be a complete series of characters, this first colorway to appear honors Trini Kwan’s Yellow Ranger and her Saber-Tooth Tiger Zord, with leathers dipped in vibrant yellow dye. Accents of black, white, red, and blue mimic the exact specs found on the Zord. Elsewhere, the tongue finishes with golden badging that is signature to that era’s Rangers, including the famed lightning bolt motif upon the left tongue. Details of a Club C Legacy (blue) and Zig Kinetica II (red) have surfaced, too, so we’re expecting to see imagery of the full collection soon, which — at this stage — is expected to arrive on June 15th from select retailers.
