Reebok Kamikaze II “Siesta” Mimics the Mid-90s Spurs

Despite causing a financial headache for their parent company adidas, Reebok has had a fairly solid start to 2021 — its Classics division, at least. Retro relics have been plentiful, including the Kamikaze II, and today it returns in a spicy Siesta scheme that mimics the famous San Antonio Spurs logo of the 1990s — after all, the silhouette was debuted by Shawn Kemp at the 1996 All-Star Game in San Antonio.

Arriving anchored in the silhouette’s staple black suede dudes, the pair is then hit by zig-zagging overlays of muted pink, “Solar Gold”, and pastel aqua before returning to a bold median line and heel overlay of black suede. A light stucco olive wraps the heel midsole and moves down to more pink and black along the outsole, with a trio of underfoot color pops adding to the retro Spurs flavor. Back up top, you’ll find brand embroidery in white, while liners of aqua arrive inside to complete the design.

Pairs of this Reebok Kamikaze II “Siesta” is set to hit soon, though a confirmed release date is yet to arrive. Until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
