AEW's Swerve Strickland Releases His Reebok Answer III Collab on May 28

Reebok Basketball has recently found success on the hardwood with the Angel Reese-endorsed Engine A, but it continues to revisit its past to breathe new life into some of its popular heritage styles. For its latest effort, the brand has tapped professional wrestler Stephon "Swerve" Strickland for a collaboration on the Answer III.

Launched during the 1999-2000 NBA season, the Reebok Answer III was designed specifically for Allen Iverson. Worn in a campaign that resulted in his first All-Star team selection, the pair has been reissued multiple times over the last 25 years. Swerve Strickland's project doesn't deviate much from the silhouette's original color scheme, donning a "Black/Gold/White" palette across its retro build.

The All Elite Wrestling star's Reebok collaboration also features a textured leopard-inspired print throughout the top-half's base layer, adding a wild element to the hoops-informed model. Swerve text replaces DMX logos on the midsole, while nods to the professional wrestler appear on the lateral heel and top-of-the-tongue. Inner lining rounds out the package in a white, black, and grey camouflage print.
