British retailer END. has built a reputation for prolific collaborations with some of the biggest names in footwear, and its partnership with Salomon is no exception. Now, as the retailer celebrates its 20th anniversary, the it's reimagined the popular XT-6 silhouette in a special 'Emerald' makeover.
Inspired by jewels, the pair features the precious resources' colors across its performance-informed design. A mix of mesh and abrasion-resistant TPU elements cover the upper, which opts for a greyscale medley. The 12-year-old running model keeps its signature quickLACE™ closer and trail-ready tooling intact, with the lateral component boasting an emerald-colored makeover. Additionally, the aggressive traction features a jewel-inspired print from toe to heel, doubling-down on the thematic execution.
The festive XT-6 features a classic white midsole and END. branding on the tongue tags. Another nod to the linkup is stamped on the insole, which also consists of the same emerald graphic found underfoot. Together, the aforementioned details create a clean design approach that balances Salomon’s technical heritage with the British retailer's refined sensibilities, resulting in a pair that feels perfect for the occasion.
END. has recently shared that its latest XT-6 project will release on Friday, March 28, for $195. The pair will be available in-store at all END. locations, as well as online via the END. Launches platform.
