The Desert-Inspired Foot Patrol x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Releases Feb. 27

London's Foot Patrol has been delivering footwear goodness since 2002. Over the years, the institution has collaborated with some of the biggest players in sneakers, telling stories of its home city and surrounding area via compelling product. For its next linkup, the retailer has taken a trip to Spain's Tabernas Desert, reimagining the Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 in hues reminiscent of the arid location.

Teased last December via social media, the collaboration is finally set to release at the close of February. Akin to its Spanish muse, the mesh runner collaboration sees different shades of brown across its performance-informed upper. Hits of blue animate base layers and synthetic panels along the tongue and around the heel, evoking images of the sky over the desert and the water that once occupied the entire area.

Foot Patrol's iconic gas mask logo appears on the foldable tongue. Underfoot, Saucony's technical sole unit opts for a mix of pale tones – including 'Khaki' – which tie the nature theme together well.
