StockX is expanding beyond its deadstock roots.
The company has launched StockX Listings, a new marketplace experience that brings used sneakers, apparel, and vintage pieces to the platform for the first time. It is a notable shift for StockX, which has long been built around brand-new, verified product, but now looks to serve more of the resale market its users are already participating in.
The new experience is designed to make selling faster and easier. Sellers can upload a photo of their item, and StockX’s AI-powered listing tool will identify the product, fill in key details, and offer pricing guidance based on StockX’s own transaction data. To help push adoption early, StockX is also offering zero seller fees at launch.
For buyers, the layout is meant to make comparison easier. Instead of searching through several listings with slightly different names, similar products are grouped together so users can compare condition, price, and availability in one place. Used listings will also appear alongside deadstock pairs on existing StockX Verified product pages, giving shoppers a fuller view of what is available.
StockX is also carrying over some of its trust structure into the new marketplace. Sellers are identity-verified, payments are held until delivery, and purchases are covered by the StockX Buyer Promise. On select items, buyers will also be able to pay for optional verification before delivery.
The launch also gives StockX a clearer three-part platform: StockX Verified, its existing marketplace for new product; StockX Listings, its new used and vintage offering; and StockX Live, which is expected to roll out later this summer.

It is a natural next step for the company. The used and vintage fashion market is expected to continue growing sharply through the end of the decade, and StockX is now positioning itself to take part in that space after years of focusing mainly on unworn product.
