The Best Custom Sneakers From January 2023

For the second time in a row, we’ve completely missed an entire month of Customs — hopefully, we can be forgiven due to December being such a hectic time of year for everyone involved. So now, with the new year underway and January coming to a close, we’re going to take a look back at the best custom and conceptual sneakers from the last eight weeks.

With Air Max Month imminent, we’ve seen a few more mods of the Air Max 1 model, but the fan-favorite Dunk remains the go-to-shoes for customization. The Shoe Surgeon is back with sole swaps and luxury bag repurposing, while New Balance’s “Protection Pack” thematic makes its way to Tinker’s Air Max 1 _ there’s even an Ugg x Nike crossover that’s out of this world.
