Two-pack.
It’s been over 20 years since Tupac left us. But he hasn’t left us hanging with new music. The Rapper has released more posthumous albums than he did when he was alive — adding more fuel to the real v fake death debate.
Well, we’ve got even more for the conspiracists, with two new Tupac albums on the way.
The posthumous projects are the result of a settlement between the estate of Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records over royalties. Shakur’s now-deceased mother, Afeni, originally filed the case against Entertainment One, which bought Death Row, claiming the family was owed more than one million dollars.
In addition to a cash settlement, Tupac’s estate will also receive a large portion of unreleased music. According to The Blast, there may be enough material for two or even three albums.
There is no specific plans for a release just yet, but we’ll be sure to hear more about it over the coming year.
