ThriftCon kicked off its 2026 season in Atlanta on Saturday, February 28, drawing more than 12,000 attendees and over 200 vendors for one of the largest vintage-focused gatherings in the country. Held across more than 100,000 square feet of space, the event further reinforced ThriftCon’s evolution from a resale marketplace into a broader vintage and culture convention.
Positioned as “More Than a Market,” ThriftCon continues to expand beyond traditional vintage shopping by blending fashion, music, and community-driven programming. The Atlanta stop reflected that shift, offering not only curated vendors but also live panels, performances, meet-and-greets, and giveaways throughout the day.
One of the major highlights was ThriftConversations: The Art of Curation & The Business of Great Taste, a live panel that explored how creators turn taste into influence and business. The discussion featured Lil Yachty, Casshyvee, Iconikki, Cey Kim, and Maurii.ce, and was moderated by ThriftCon co-founder Mars Conte. The conversation centered on the growing role of tastemakers within the vintage and fashion ecosystem.
Music also played a central role in the day’s programming. The Ying Yang Twins delivered a live performance and hosted a meet-and-greet with attendees, bringing energy to the show floor and highlighting the continued crossover between music culture and vintage fashion.
Beyond the stage, ThriftCon remained one of the most expansive vintage marketplaces in the world. Vendors ranged from established collectors to emerging upcycle designers and celebrity resellers, including comedian and streamer Funny Marco and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. While rare archival pieces and high-value collectibles anchored parts of the floor, accessible pricing and discovery-driven vendor booths ensured the event remained approachable for both seasoned collectors and first-time shoppers.
“ThriftCon is more than a market,” said co-founder Ken Meade. “It’s where collectors, creators, and community come together in real life, and Atlanta has always been a natural home for that.”
Following the Atlanta kickoff, ThriftCon’s 2026 tour will continue to Miami on April 4 as part of a 10-city run that includes stops in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Houston.
