Vans' Latest Premium Authentics Reference Chanel's La Habana Bag

Following the widespread success of OTW by Vans' Old Skool 36 "Souvenir" capsule, the California-based brand will launch two Premium Authentic styles bearing similarity to another Chanel bag: La Habana bag from 2016.

While not officially part of the elevated OTW category, the newly-surfaced styles see much of the same design approach, differentiating from standard footwear from the original action sports brand. As is the case with its purported muse, the two Vans Authentic takes see faux-aged finishes that couple well with the model's skate-able construction.

Green-and-blue and black-and-white color schemes land across the duo, with the former boasting a more direct line between Karl Lagerfeld's creation from a decade ago.

In addition to the color palette and wear-marks, the elevated options arrive with a number of embroidered details along the profiles. Furthermore, metal charm-reminiscent hangtags add another special touch to the design.
