Toasted and roasted.
Isn’t this whole Embiid/Drummond feud entertaining as hell?
In the latest installment of the ongoing beef, the 76ers big man took Andre to school on Saturday afternoon, dropping 39 points, 17 rebounds, 2 blocks and a career-high 18 made free throws to lead Philly to a 109-99 victory.
Let’s also take this chance to shout Detroit’s Blake Griffin, who keep the ball rolling on his explosive start to the season with 38 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists.
But, because of the beef, this day belongs to Joel:
Following the game, Embiid got his Twitter fingers firing and took another shot at Drummond, who had a mere 8 points and 9 rebounds:

But it wasn’t just Embiid roasting Drummond — the Philly commentators we’re calling it like it was, with savage comments like “Was he really expecting that to go in?” and the ironic “That’s a professional basketball player.”
So not only did Andre get toasted on the court, but he got roasted off it, too.
Talk about a bad day.
The beef all started earlier this season, when the 76ers faced the Pistons in a barnburner, Embiid flopped after Drummond grazed his face, leading to an ejection of Drummond.
After that game, Drummond took to Instagram claiming that Embiid is “fat, outta shape and talks all day,” while Joel told reporters that he “owns a lot of real estate in [Drummond’s] head.”

Classic.
We’re just over here with the popcorn, waiting for the next installment.
