Well, this has ruined my year.
Yeah, I know it’s getting cold, but typically when we head into October, it’s nothing but good news. The NBA is season starting so soon, and then there’s all the good stuff coming in the back end of the year. Halloween, Black Friday/Cyber Monday and all that fattening Holiday food always gets this guy pumped up for the end of the year.
But today, like receiving chalky, stale candy on Halloween, my mood has been soured.
It was just revealed that the iconic no-flinch Kobe Bryant moment in which Matt Barnes’ pump fake seemed not to phase the Mamba, is fake.

That really hurt.
Way back on March 7, 2010, Matt Barnes faked a pass directly at Kobe’s face. An unphased Bryant continued to stare down Barnes, straight faced, while swaying his body from left to right. It was true gangster shit.
Or so we thought, until now.
So, we’re sorry to ruin the Mamba’s legacy a lil bit. But unfortunately, it’s news you just had to know.
