Virgil Abloh’s first Louis Vuitton sneaker rips the Air Jordan 3

“NOT AIR JORDAN”

Virgil Abloh has revealed his first Louis Vuitton sneaker since taking over as head of design for the men’s footwear line and it’s very, very familiar.

Clearly inspired by the Air Jordan 3, it’s already got people divided. People are praising it’s design and it’s heritage. Others are calling Abloh a lazy, uninspired designer. But that’s nothing new to any designer.

Here’s a snap of A$AP Rocky rocking the kicks, alongside Playboi Carti, which was shared by Virgil himself. Thi slooks to be the first of a possible range of colors, but we’re yet to get any word on that just yet.

These will debut at the Louis Vuitton’s men’s Spring/Summer 2019 show that goes down tomorrow, June 21st at Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned for an official release date.
