Superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly just signed on the dotted line with Nike for what is rumored to be the biggest sneaker endorsement deal in NFL history.

The deal does not yet include a signature sneaker, but Nike has big plans for the star. They want to make him a brand icon. It was rumored that Adidas did offer a large sum, but Nike matched or beat it to get OBJ across the line. Nice Kicks is reporting that the deal could escalate to a value of as much as $48 million over 8 years, which includes addition incentives, making it the most lucrative endorsement deal for a NFL player to date.
