Germany’s 43einhalb opened its doors in 2011, serving fresh footwear, apparel, and a sense of community to the local people of Hesse. Throughout the last 10 years, the boutique has expanded its “brick-and-mortar” presence, as well as its digital footprint. One of the partners that’s followed along all the way has been adidas, which has recently previewed another special collaboration with the Fulda-based brand. Fanatics of the four and five-digit adidas ZX series, the folks over at 43einhalb landed on the adidas ZX 10000 for their latest project given the model’s plethora of materials and its nod to the boutique’s “10th” anniversary.

The inspiration behind the upcoming pair lies no farther than outside the doors of the store’s doors: the topographical maps and landscapes that the 43einhalb team has explored across Germany over the last few years have been immortalized in sneaker form. Various greys found throughout the pair’s mixed-materials upper have been transplanted from the urban area (and second home) that is Frankfurt am Main. Sandy shades and vibrant citrus tones are informed by beaches and sunrises, respectively. Lastly, the latest take on the Torsion bar-stabilized silhouette features a reworked club signet and “43” branding to denote its special quality. Enjoy campaign imagery of the collaborative ZX 10000 here below, and anticipate an exclusive drop via 43einhalb.comsoon.
