The Adidas Adizero Aruku Features Boro Denim in Upcoming "Sashiko Pack"
The Adidas Adizero Aruku spent the first six months of its life cycle in relative quiet, but it's ramped up the style proposals this season. For its latest elevated ensemble, the running-inspired design has taken on denim makeovers rooted in the Japanese Sashiko technique.
A lot more understated than the pair rapper Gunna unveiled at London's WIRELESS Festival last year, the Aruku takes on predominantly black or blue finishes. A jean-associated material replaces the typical breathable elements, with overlays along the profiles also opting for a leather build. Hits of brown enter the mix across the outsole, heel area, and tongue, further referencing fashionable garments and distancing the pairs from their sports-informed heritage. The nitrogen-infused SWIRLFOAM midsole keeps things simple in white, allowing for the top-halves to revel in the spotlight.

Away from the Adizero lineup, the Adidas Samba Jane brings a fashion-forward, laceless update to the iconic football silhouete.
