Stealthy, but Bold: The Adidas Adizero Aruku “Triple Black” Delivers Comfort and Attitude
The Three Stripes is unquestionably a sports-focused company, but it's become a staple within the fashionable lifestyle space throughout the years. As such, the brand has consistently taken performance DNA and reimagined it for everyday use, creating familiar, but compelling styles like the Adidas Adizero Aruku in the process.
The Adidas Originals team took innovative, nitrogen-infused SWIRLFOAM and coupled it with a lightweight, breathable upper inspired by the Adizero PR from the early 2000s. The result is a retro aesthetic that's inherently bold due to its competitive running muse and platform sole unit.

The Adizero Aruku's debut style is a faithful reinterpretation of the long-forgotten racing shoe. Its "Cloud White/Pure Ruby" color scheme (available now via Adidas.com) harkens back to the turn of the century, not seeming out of place in today's sneaker landscape.
While firmly rooted in performance running of yesteryear, the SWIRLFOAM-cushioned model pushes the boundaries in ways reissues of the Adios 1 and AdiStar Cushion don't. Pharrell Williams' impending Adidas Jellyfish collaboration, however, reimagines the Three Stripes' performance spirit in a progressive package.
In addition to the aforementioned two-tone style, the Adizero Aruku is now available in "Triple Black," as well as a number of different vibrant color schemes.
