Anthony Edwards 2 "Lucid Pink" to Release Jan. 17, 2026

The Minnesota Timberwolves' Western Conference Finals matchup has yet to be determined, but one thing has already been guaranteed: the Anthony Edwards 2 (AE 2) by Adidas is ready to take over the hardwood.

Teased and rumored ad nauseam over the last year-and-a-half, the silhouette continues to turn up in prototype and approved samples. Regardless of your opinion of the pair, what can't be denied is that Edwards' sequel is amongst the most-anticipated of recent memory. The latest preview arrives courtesy of Instagram account @allinlivee, revealing the Adidas Basketball design in a "Lucid Pink" makeup.

The sneaker's overall shape is similar to the beloved Anthony Edwards 1. The upper, however, opts for a busier presentation, abandoning the seemingly-one-piece, porous construction of its predecessor. Fabric sidewalls and branding elements on the tongue and spine indulge in the aforementioned pink tone, while other components don "Core Black" and light orange finishes.
