The 2026 World Cup™ is just one week away and adidas knows it. Since November, the Three Stripes has put together numerous product launches, community-focused activations, and other efforts in celebration of football. Today, it's launched the latest piece of the festivities: a retro-inspired EQT Federations Collection.
As seen in the brand's three-way collaboration with Brain Dead and Disney, adidas EQT (read: Equipment) formed an important part of the German company's football program in the early 1990s. Numerous storied clubs and national teams wore kits that followed the bold aesthetic of the Equipment template. The latest lifestyle-friendly capsule is rooted in a similar look, and spans a tracksuit, short-sleeve jersey, and shorts.
A total of 14 adidas-sponsored national football teams qualified for the World Cup™, but only six football federations have received an EQT capsule: Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Japan, Colombia, and Germany. Each design features Trefoil logos, federation crests, and Equipment stripes on the shoulders or sleeves.
Enjoy photos of some of the collection, available now via adidas.com ahead. Pricing ranges between $60-$110.
