adidas Football Launches “Speed Is Money” Campaign With Ochocinco

adidas Football is putting speed at the center of the conversation with its newest campaign, “Speed Is Money,” led by none other than Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.

The new film casts the NFL legend as the ultimate “speed broker,” intercepting some of football’s fastest names during the offseason and pulling them into a conference call they never saw coming. Whether they’re mid-workout, mid-errand, or simply going about their day, Ochocinco rounds up the group for one reason: to talk speed.

And adidas did not hold back on the roster.

The campaign features one of the brand’s most stacked football lineups to date, bringing together NFL stars, rising rookies, flag football standouts, and elite high school talent under one shared message: speed is money.

Headlining the film alongside Ochocinco is Travis Hunter of the Jacksonville Jaguars, London Jenkins from USA Women’s Flag Football, Emeka Egbuka of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, Garrett Wilson of the New York Jets, Rome Odunze of the Chicago Bears, and Kyle Pitts Sr. of the Atlanta Falcons.

adidas also uses the moment to spotlight the next wave, with Miami Carol City High School’s Nick Lennear, Christopher Columbus High School’s A’mir Sears, and Effingham County High School’s Trayvis Hunter joining the campaign.

The concept leans into Ochocinco’s larger-than-life personality while giving adidas a sharp, football-first platform built around pace, playmaking, and personality. Rather than treating speed as just another combine metric, the film frames it as currency — the thing that separates playmakers, creates opportunities, and changes games.

With flag football set to keep growing and young football talent becoming more visible than ever, “Speed Is Money” gives adidas a campaign that stretches across every level of the sport, from Friday nights to Sundays.

Expect adidas Football to continue building around the campaign as the new season approaches.
