adidas go back to the Future

From before you were born.

Nike aren’t the only brand this year giving their classics modernized hybrid makeovers, with adidas digging into the vault to find the Micropacer — a sneaker that was well and truly ahead of it’s time.

It originally dropped back in 1984, the Micropacer was one opf the first computerized sneakers that tracked performance as it was being worn. Now that’s become a staple for things like the Under Armour HOVR or many on Nike’s long-list of trainers.

Thirty-four years on, adidas are bringing it back it to the future, blended in 2018 with the fan-favorite NMD. The result is the adidas Futurepacer,
