As the new NBA season approaches, all eyes are on James Harden as he gears up in his eighth signature Adidas sneaker. However, the spotlight is swiftly shifting towards his upcoming release, the Adidas Harden Vol. 9, with the "Pearlized" colorway unveiling through official imagery.

The Harden Vol. 9 continues Adidas Basketball's pursuit of cutting-edge, futuristic designs. The foundation of the sneaker is a breathable mesh bootie, closely related to that seen on the Vol 8, providing a lightweight, snug fit. This base layer is elegantly swathed in a pristine black, contrasted by a sweeping synthetic panel in white that encircles the upper. This design aesthetically pleases and integrates functionality with three ventilation cutouts positioned within the midfoot's Three Stripes—enhancing the shoe’s breathability and reducing its weight without sacrificing comfort.

Accentuating the sleek two-tone design are pops of Scream Green located near the vamp, on the insole, and peeking out beneath the rubber outsole, injecting a dynamic flair into the otherwise monochromatic palette. At the heel, a faux carbon fiber plate nods to performance innovation, complete with Harden branding, reminiscent of features seen in other high-performance Adidas models.

The Adidas Harden Vol. 9 "Pearlized" is expected to hit shelves on February 22, 2025 via Adidas and select retailers.
