The Adidas Harden Vol. 9 'Sun Devils' Pays Homage to Arizona State

Adidas Basketball and James Harden continue to pump up their ninth signature model together. Last night, in a tough loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Los Angeles Clipper unveiled a pair of his Harden Vol. 9 in a color scheme inspired by his alma mater.

Currently a Player-Exclusive (PE), the 'Sun Devils' style adds another tally to the sneaker's compelling, story-driven roster of outfits. The future-forward design features a deep 'Maroon' hue across the bulk of its upper, with profile 3-Stripes delivering muted 'Gold Metallic' contrast. Arizona State's athletics program's logo appears on the tongue's pull tab, cementing the style as an ode to Harden's alma mater.

Elsewhere, the Adidas logos on the spine also indulge in yellowish flair, while the tried-and-proven outsole keeps things simple in black. Together, each aforementioned component helps build out the Harden Vol. 9's growing catalog of makeovers.
