The Adidas Samba has had dozens of editions since its debut in 1949. In recent years, the silhouette has become a go-to option for it girls, leading the Three Stripes to reimagine the vintage football trainer in handfuls of fashion-forward makeovers.
Ahead of summer, the Adidas Originals staple has emerged with a patent leather upper. While not an all-new modification to the decades-old design, the glossy material returns with an "Aurora Ivy" update, firmly positioning the sneaker amongst summer and fall footwear rotations. Profile 3-Stripes, Achilles' heel panels, and sole units deviate in a "Core Black" tone. Samba text on the lateral profile introduce a "Silver Metallic" touch to the ensemble; the trefoil logo on the top of the tongue follows suit.
