In an era of fast fashion, fast food, and fast cars, it’s not easy being green. Who’d have thought that the famous saying by Kermit the Frog would have such relevance on environmental sustainability in the 21st Century? Despite the daily difficulties we all face in reducing our carbon footprint, adidas will be making it a little easier for us — and they’ve brought some of our favorite green Disney characters to help.

The adidas Stan Smith Primegreen “Character Pack” enlists the help of the aforementioned Muppet, along with fellow verde-wearing pals in Rex (Toy Story), Mike Wazowski (Monsters, Inc), The Incredible Hulk, and Tinkerbell for six environmentally-friendly footwear drops. Kermit appears on two releases, one with a colorful all-over montage of the lovable amphibian, while Toy Story’s Rex continues a textured thematic seen on his recent Top Ten release. Single-eyed Mike appears on his pair in multiple poses across a sail leather and a green jelly sole units, while the next three, the Hulk, Kermit’s second pair, and Tinkerbell all arrive on plain builds. Bruce Banner’s alter ego appears only on the tongue silhouette with a Hulk Smash badge on the lateral and rests atop a milky-white translucent outsole. The final two arrive in straight white leather builds complete with outlined characters at the ankle. Kermit is fixed with green trim, while Tink sees a colorful rear embroidery overlay and gradient-dyed laces to match.
