Being an icon, the adidas Superstar is well within its rights to experiment with all kinds of textures, materials, and tones. This, though, is something that we’ve yet to see anywhere. With plush woven tongues and heel overlays, the pair is automatically transformed into something new — not to mention the netted Three Stripe overlays at the midfoot that are reminiscent of late-80s hoop shoes; here in orange mind you. Everything else is delivered in a subtle sail hue, including the leather upper and liners, laces, Shell Toe, and sole unit.
