The adidas Superstar is celebrating its 50th anniversary and we’ve already been privy to some pretty amazing drops, headlined by Prada’s minimalist effort from late last year. For those that missed out Italian fashion house’s capsule, adidas are about to drop a duo of finely-crafted Superstar Pure’s for Women that arrive in-line with Prada’s premium ethos.
Teased late last month as part of adidas’ impending Spring lineup, these all-leather Superstars arrive stripped back in a minimalist, high-fashion-esqe edition. Clean lines, removed branding and retooled overlays add to the aesthetic, while leather shell toes and gold accents on the heel and aglets elevate the pair into its own class. It arrives in black and white, both utilizing top-tier leathers, and both sit atop a classic white sole unit.
Both pairs of the adidas Superstar Pure will arrive on adidas.com on February 13th for $120 a pop — and although there will be a lot more pairs on hand than the aforementioned Prada collab, we’re expecting these will move fast.
