adidas Serve-Up Split-Blocked “Knicks” and “Lakers” Superstars

adidas has gone coast to coast with this new two-piece pack of split-blocked Superstars, honoring the NBA’s two biggest franchises, the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Whilst the Knicks and Lakers remain on the separate ends of the spectrum in terms of recent success, their extensive fanbase is a commonality that they share. So it should come as no surprise that the Three Stripes has honed in on the two teams’ themes for this simply-split collection. Both sporting white bases, lateral and medial Three Stripe overlays are split between team colors of orange and royal, and purple and gold respectively. The colors meet in the middle at the split-colored tongue detail and heel overlay, with the insoles following suit. Both pairs are capped off with classic white Shell Toes and sole units, as well as metallic gold SUPERSTAR lettering at the quarter panel.
