Somehow, at some point in the past few years, third kits have become an event. The once-ridiculed strips for big-named clubs always faced backlash for being off-brand, a little too out there, and just plain awful. But somewhere along the lines, around the early 2010’s football clubs started to get it right. Now, it’s always the third kit that fans want to see most. In fact, it’s become so big that sponsoring footwear brands are beginning to match releases to said uniforms. It’s the case for the just-sighted Air Jordan 4 “PSG” — and its the same story for adidas and their Ultra BOOST for their five-biggest name clubs in Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Juventus.

Each of these Ultra BOOST DNAs arrives adorning their respective club’s branding at the tongue, their nicknames along the heel pulls, and a not-so-traditional team colorway. Man U’s pair arrives in burgundy, black, and peach, whilst the Gunners go for black, grey and, green. Bayern’s is a little boring in staple club colors, whilst Real and Juventus get a little more creative in navy and pink, and orange and black respectively.
