Bad Bunny's historic residency in Puerto Rico might be over, the superstar gave the world handfuls of moments during the month-long stay that'll endure the test of time. Several pairs of footwear—like the Adidas Ballerina in "Vivid Red"—were previewed on-stage before their eventual global launch.
The aforementioned silhouette, which is effectively a modified Adidas Taekwondo, was originally teased throughout Summer 2024. Vastly-different from the bulk of Bad Bunny's first several Adidas Originals projects, the Ballerina delivers a thin sole and low profile. The sneaker employs a speed-lace system and size tags stitched onto the shoe's spine. As with so much of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio's work with the Three Stripes, the "Vivid Red/Cloud White/Power Red"-colored style draws inspiration from Puerto Rico—specifically the flamboyán tree that's visible across the island during summer.
