Eponymous fashion label Simone Rocha has an adidas Originals collection releasing on Thursday, Sept. 10. The multi-item collaboration features a number of apparel, accessories, and footwear styles.
The inaugural drop between the Irish designer and the Three Stripes has been developed through the idea of "bringing the delicate to the familiar," as shared in a caption for the Instagram Reel announcing the project. As was the case with the recent launch of adidas ORIGINALS by JENNIE, Simone Rocha's take on the adidas Archive sees fashion-forward makeovers to more than a handful of designs born in sport—including trendy styles like the Taekwondo Ballerina and Japan Slip-On.
Rocha's offerings for FW26 are sporty and feminine. Her interpretations of the aforementioned silhouettes, as well as the Climacool, double down on mixing delicate fashion with performance heritage, resulting in footwear options that look right at home on the runway.
Each model has been reimagined through similar world-building elements that've graced Simone Rocha designs since 2010. Pearls, faux pony hair, and lace material divvy up real estate across five different shoes. The range takes on seasonal, but versatile color schemes that include "Pink Tint," "Magic Beige," and "Black" tones.
The debut Simone Rocha x adidas Originals collaboration releases via adidas.com and select retailers on Sept. 9.
