Bad Bunny's F1-Inspired Adidas Adiracer GT Collection Releases Next Month

Bad Bunny continues to prove himself as one of the more important collaborators on the Adidas Originals roster at the moment. After unveiling items on his home island-nation, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio is ready to release his multi-piece collection developed in partnership with the Three Stripes and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1® Team.

Inspired and informed by the world of motorsports, as well as shared commitment to innovation, the project sees apparel, accessories, and a footwear style reimagined through the lens of the trio. Bad Bunny reinterprets the Adiracer GT as a modern driving shoe, bringing an exoskeleton, bold typography, and premium materials to the low-profile silhouette. The result is a shoe that transitions seamlessly from the driver's seat to the street—all while promoting the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion presented by the aforementioned trifecta.

For the apparel, Bad Bunny draws inspiration from the F1 track itself: dark colors come together with faux-distressing and shimmering details that nod to high-speed, technical detailing central to the world of motorsports. A cap, set of zip-up tees, race jacket, racing gloves, and pants form part of the non-footwear offerings. A 94 motif appears throughout the collection, representing the 31-year-old's birth year in the style of a race number.

Over the summer, between shows at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Jan, Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny visited the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team for its first-ever test run on the island. He was later announced as the organization's newest member, breaking new ground in the world of motorsports.
