Is the Balenciaga x Adidas Partnership Back?

The German sportswear giant has grappled with the repercussions of its severed ties with Yeezy in October 2022 and the underwhelming performance of Beyoncé’s IVY PARK line. Furthermore, the much-anticipated partnership with high-fashion label Balenciaga came to an abrupt pause due to a scandal that forced adidas to freeze product launches.

But, a possible resurgence in their collaboration might be on the cars, as an official look at the Balenciaga x Adidas Yrack, also dubbed the "T Forum", has appeared.

Speculation regarding the revival of the adidas and Balenciaga partnership has been rife, and recent official imagery suggests that a new product launch could be imminent. This new model marries the iconic adidas Forum High silhouette with Balenciaga's luxurious detailing. The upper is crafted from premium tumbled leather in crisp white tones, punctuated by vibrant OG-inspired royal accents that adorn the adidas Three Stripes, Trefoil logo, and sock liner/collar area.

In a quintessential Balenciaga touch, the European shoe size is conspicuously printed on the toe, while the additional overlays near the midfoot and toe cap draw inspiration from the Balenciaga Track Runner. The design culminates in the robust and distinctive midsole and outsole of the Balenciaga Track, carrying the synergy of both brands' design ethos.
