Another one.
Los Angeles-based brand Bristol Studio will follow up their two-piece Crazy BYW pack from November last year with another, this time arriving in the silhouette’s low-cut form. The release continues last year’s capsule’s heavy Basketball influence, as well as its earthy, tonal finishes, which was drawn from hoops heritage. This time around, the brand looks for inspiration from founder Luke Tadashi and his mates MAASAI and London’s childhood bike rides to the basketball courts of Venice Beach, with the palette reflecting their daily journeys to the blacktop.
The Bristol Studio Crazy BYW Low features a blend of premium nubuck, leathers and tech-loaded wovens across it’s Kobe8-inspired design, all in a luxury palate of creams, tans and whites — the only deviation arrive in the desaturated greens and navy on the lacestays. Thick, translucent co-branded pull tabs add a serious touch of sauce, with Bristol’s sole branding appearing along the tongue elastic. Medial patched on overlays pays tribute to the Three Stripes brand in a very abstract way, with off-white BOOST midsoles, cream overlays, and rose-gum outsoles completing the design.
As for a release, you can expect the pair to touchdown at select stockists and adidas.com tomorrow, June 29th — And you can expect a matching apparel line and adilette slide (below) to release alongside the pair, s per their previous collaboration in 2018.
