Adidas continues its tradition of curating heart-felt collaborations, partnering with Eric “Shake” James, the philanthropist and owner of CLICK, to celebrate Milwaukee’s 414 Day.
The limited-edition Rivalry Low, dubbed the 414, is infused with Milwaukee’s essence, starting with a cream upper that mirrors the city’s iconic “Cream City Brick” architecture. The tongue of the shoe features this textured design, laying a unique foundation for the rest of the sneaker. The suede Three Stripes are decked out in Milwaukee Bucks’ classic green with red accents, while the heels and the right tongue boast cheese blocks and a pint glass decal, respectively—homages to Wisconsin’s famous cheese and Milwaukee’s rich beer history.
In addition to the sneaker, Shake has added his signature microphone keychains, celebrating his roots in hip-hop and sneaker culture. This release builds on the success of his DAY ONE Forum Low and continues his efforts through the adidas Cornerstone Community to support programming for underserved communities in Milwaukee.
This collaboration extends beyond just footwear. In partnership with J.A.Y. Academy, Shake and adidas have organized over 15 events since 2020, focusing on wellness workshops, professional development, and creating community spaces. The impact of these initiatives will be showcased during the 414 Day celebrations, starting with free footwear design workshops at Siefert Middle School and culminating in a release party with performances by hip-hop legends like Lil Kim and Brooklyn Queen.
The Eric 'Shake' James x Adidas Rivalry Low is set to drop on April 13th, at CLICK stores.
