Fucking Awesome and Adidas Reunite for a Textured Take on the Stan Smith

Fucking Awesome and Adidas are back this spring with a bold yet intricately detailed take on the Stan Smith. Known for their unique design approach, the longtime collaborators have crafted a monochromatic all-black colorway that lets texture do all the talking.

At first glance, the sneaker may appear simple, but a closer look reveals a mix of contrasting materials that add depth and intrigue. The fully cracked leather upper gives the pair a rugged, worn-in aesthetic, while the high-gloss patent leather heel overlay creates a sharp contrast. Sitting between the two extremes, a traditional leather sock liner adds an element of balance, but the cracked finish returns on the tongue, reinforcing the sneaker’s distressed theme.

Additional premium details include waxed laces, a tonal black sole unit, and metallic Fucking Awesome branding stamped on the lateral side, solidifying the sneaker’s elevated yet rebellious character.
