Hebru Brantley’s works continue to enlighten his followers that where they are isn’t where they need to stay, empowering them through fantastical fictions that shed light on Black individualism and expression.
Following the successful release of the now coveted adidas Rivalry Hi sneaker at Art Basel, a three-way collaboration between adidas, Billionaire Boy’s Club and Hebru Brantley, the globally-exhibited artist uses the iconic adidas Forum as a blank canvas for his fantastical fiction — and he does so in two colorways across the Mid and Low-cut designs.
Brantley brings his signature Frogboy and Rocket, characters to life alongside a series of features inspired by the artist’s street art and graffiti roots; including hand-drawn trefoil branding and sockliners.
