Founded by Alex Taylor in 2018, Hoop York City champions women's basketball through community outreach and social activism. Over the past few years, the collective has carried out its mission with the help of adidas, collaborating on a number of footwear and apparel capsules, which will include another take on the Forum Low come Spring 2025.
Having already worked on the iconic silhouette, Hoop York City has refined its creative vision for the upcoming offering. In comparison to the pair co-signed by the Indiana Fever's Erica Wheeler, the brand's next adidas Forum Low features a subdued color palette. An off-white leather upper sets the stage for muted hits of green, blue, and red, across branding and other accents. Tried-and-proven sole units underfoot boast a similar color treatment, but lateral profiles deviate from their surroundings with metallic gold flair. The special detail is a debossed 'HYC' logo that cements the on-going partnership between Taylor's brand and the Three Stripes.
A specific adidas.com release date hasn't been announced as of yet, but Hoop York City's low-top Forum for women is expected to launch by June for an MSRP of $120 USD.
