adidas is set to deliver a delicious seven-piece pack with everybody’s favorite melt in your mouth, not in your hand candy, M&M’s. All seven sneakers will focus on the Forum Low 84, with six color characters joined by a special yellow and brown colorway, resembling the packaging for Peanut M&M’s (the GOAT flavor, TBH)
The latter is expected to kick things off in October, followed by the six character options in November – a similar release structure to the recently-released LEGO Ultra BOOST and ZX collaborations. Those six come in red, blue, brown, orange, green, and yellow, each rocking similar but slightly different blocking comprised of white accents, chocolate rubber outsoles, and a number of special embellishments. The classic M&M’s logo sits at the lateral ankle in place of the Trefoil, while an M&M button in the back aims to mimic the famed candy piece. Toe box perforations feature the signature M motif, whilst special tongue tags depict the package’s retail hang hole and Three Stripe detail that replicates the pressed edges of the packet. Each pair is then completed by special graphic insoles featuring their respective candy characters, and bold yellow boxing that mimics the aforementioned packaging.
Update 06.30.21 Though Complex has reported that the pairs will be delayed until 2022, official images for five of the six character colorways have appeared ahead of an expected release in Asia this year.
