Pharrell Williams is one of the busier human beings on the planet during every Paris Fashion Week. Beyond his duties for Louis Vuitton, the Virginia-native has been hard at work with his Adidas family.
Although much attention has been paid to the extra-chunky Adistar Jellyfish, Skateboard P has also been in the lab developing a new take on one of the Three Stripes' most popular running sneakers. Last year, Pharrell unveiled an exclusive colorway of the Adizero Adios Pro EVO 2 in Paris, sending shockwaves throughout performance and fashion spaces alike. That pair, which launched in limited quantities and with a $500 price tag, has given way to a Humanrace x EVO SL capsule.
The impending collaboration between P.W. and Adidas sees "Footwear White" and "Core Black" bases animated by hits of "Semi Court Green" and "Semi Lucid Blue" flair. The vibrant contrast takes over profile 3-Stripes, with the eye-catching green also animating Humanrace branding on the left shoe's lateral heel and sock-liners. All of the bells-and-whistles that've made the EVO SL a hit—breathable, padded upper; responsive LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam; race-informed rocker geometry—appear on the project, but with a touch of Pharrell's magic.
Enjoy official photos of the Humanrace running shoe duo ahead. Pairs of the special Adizero EVO SL are expected to release via Adidas.com in the coming months.
