The adidas Forum continues to be the Three Stripe’s blank canvas for collaboration, the latest enlists California-founded retailers Shoe Palace for a special homage-heavy release. Tributing the famed Forum Arena in which the Lakers called home from 1967 to 1999 — and won six Championships during that time — the Shoe Palace x adidas Forum Low “Fabulous Forum” arrives clad in the Laker’s home kit hues of white, purple, and gold, and comes finished with a bevy of special callouts to the arena, namely ’67 and ’99 embroidered on the vamp overlay. Completing the design is a set of gum rubber outsoles underfoot that honor the hardwood in which the success prevailed.
Limited to only 1,200 pairs, the Shoe Palace x adidas Forum Low “Fabulous Forum” will release on July 2nd at select Shoe Palace stores and shoepalace.com for a cool $95 ($99 would have been more fitting, though.)
