Continuing to tell the story of his alter-ego, Porkchop, the impending AdiStar Control 5 collection releases on Saturday, March 28. Three different color schemes draw inspiration from childhood friends—including "Cupcake" (green), "Cheeseburger" (yellow), and "Steve-O" (red). Each commemorative retro runner, which debuted in 2008, the same year UNheardof opened its doors in Cincinnati, is limited to just 2,500 pairs.
A "Baby Piggys" launch has also been prepared, bringing the green "Cupcake" style to Toddler-sizing. Only 500 units of this design have been produced.
The entire collection releases in-store at 15 W 4th St in Cincinnati and online via unheardofbrand.com at 11 a.m. EDT. Youth and Adult sizes of the AdiStar Control 5 are priced at $185 each, whereas the Toddler pair retails for $85.

Having previously reworked the Rivalry and Cushion 3, Lipschutz and company have chosen the Adistar Control 5 as their next canvas. The Three Stripes has been positioning the retro running model to have a stellar 2026 and Unheardof's project joins what will likely be a star-studded cast of collaborative takes on the chunky silhouette.

A quick glance at the sneaker unveils a green-and-pink color palette, which Lipschutz has already dubbed "Piggy Runner 2.0" as a nod to his brand's highly-popular Adistar Cushion 3 from last year. Branding on the profiles, the visible cushioning at the heel, and traction zones indulge in eye-catching pink, allowing the remainder of the model to boast a mostly green finish. Unheardof's Porky mascot claims real estate throughout the pair, making the collab unmistakably part of Lipschutz's growing roster.
Enjoy detailed shots of the three upcoming adidas Control 5 pairs ahead. Pairs are set to launch on March 28 through Unheardof's channels. A limited-to-500-units Toddler edition will also be available for lucky customers.
