The adidas ZX4000 4D “Carbon” Finally has a Release Date

Back to the Future.

While almost every brand looks to the past through retros and re-releases, there’s only truly one brand that looks back to move forward. That brand is adidas, who have made it their mission to carve out their future technology through hybrid creations which encapsulate icons of the past. On almost every modern model, the Three Stripe design heritage shines through, keeping classic lines partnered up with futuristic tech. Their all-new ZX 4000 4D is a prime example of how they can successfully head back to the future, so to speak.

The debut colorway in Cloud White and Linen Green, which is set to release on February 9th, has sparked a lot of interest, and now we get a look at their sophomore effort, this toned-down “Carbon” iteration. The deep-grey Primeknit upper is paired with flashed of neon blue and yellow on the upper, countered by an even darker grey over and underlays. The customary Ash Green 4D-printed sole. completes the construction. 4D fans keen on this new flex should stay locked into HOUSE OF HEAT for release details, which are likely to follow over the coming weeks, if not days.

Update 04.01.19 After a long, long longgggg time waiting, a release date has been penciled in for the adidas ZX 4000 4D “Carbon,” with SNS having the date scheduled for April 5th. Before you head on over to SNS to enter the raffle, grab an official look at the pair below!
