If anyone is accustomed to a quick costume change, it’s Beyoncé. And like her on-stage outfits, her collaborative adidas line has quickly been swapped out for another, with the second portion of her sophomore collection — the IVY PARK x adidas DRIP 2 “Black Pack” — ready to launch mere weeks after its preceding Hi-Res Green gear.
Once again you can expect to see the marquee IVY PARK Ultra BOOST, with another two accompanying offerings of the Supersleek 72 and Forum Mid. The latter is an anomaly, arriving in whites and neutrals, while the others boast a bold, mostly black build. The Black IVY PARK Ultra BOOST rocks the inky hue over the Primeknit upper, with embroidered leather caging, rear plastic heel clips, and suede panels all arriving in tonal hues. BOOST midsoles follow suit, with toe-to-tail paintwork in black, and are wrapped up in a striking Hi-Res Yellow Continental rubber outsole. The Supersleek 72, which originally surfaced in an all-black arrangement, will actually arrive equipped with gum sole units, with everything else murdered-out black. The Forum keeps things classic, working the pack’s black and orange hues in by-way-of the midfoot Three Stripe and rear overlays, and all three options come complete with outdoor-inspired flecked laces.
All three sneakers will release alongside and extensive clothing and apparel collection from November 17th, with adidas US to see the first-up release. A day later on November 18th, global adidas sites will roll out their collections. If you’ve still lucked out on your wishlist items by day two — don’t fret. Select retailers around the globe (listed below) will be dropping their collections on November 19th.
