Adidas Continues Superstar's 55th Anniversary with "Denim Stars" Makeover

Adidas Originals has celebrated milestone anniversaries for several silhouettes over the last 25 years and it's been focusing on the Superstar over the last nine months.

Thus far, the iconic "shell-toe"'s 55th birthday has brought forth plethora of inline and collaborative styles. Wales Bonner, Thug Club, MENACE, and DIOS are just some of the names that've been linked to the Adidas Superstar this year. The bulk of the model's makeovers, however, have been inline options readily-available for long-time and new fans of the sneaker alike. Its latest presentation takes on a "Night Marine/Off White" color scheme that leaves the latter tone to enjoy the rubber toe cap, profile 3-Stripes, and outsole. The former, then, takes over denim material along the profiles. The non-leather build also sees star-shaped contrast across the sides, creating an eye-catching visual in the process.

Firm release details of the Women's-exclusive Superstar II have yet to be confirmed by the brand, but pairs should land via Adidas.com by the start of December. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the sneaker ahead.
