Kyrie Irving's ANTA Chief Hélà Lifestyle Sneaker Returns April 19
Having previously appeared on the KAI 1, a silhouette that's helped the Chinese company gain footing across the globe according to GOAT's 2025 alias Market Report, the 'Chief Hélà' look has landed on the Hélà silhouette in all its glory. High-quality construction makes up the entirety of the pair, with tassel detailing and multi-color beads nodding to Irving's Indigenous heritage. The sole unit resembles that commonly found on old school skateboarding shoes, a genre of footwear close to the NBA superstar. The khaki-colored ANTA design draws inspiration from traditional Native American moccasins, and further presents the athlete's Lakota name–Hélà (meaning Little Mountain)–to the global stage.
"Every step I take in my journey honors my ancestors and the strength they’ve passed down to me," Kyrie Irving shared in a press release for the sneaker's debut. "The 'Chief Hélà' shoe is more than just a design; it’s a tribute to where I come from and a symbol of unity and progress. I’m proud to share this part of my story with the world."
Following the January 22 debut, Irving's ANTA restock will hit a select number of retailers again, on April 26, 2025 for $125. Pairs are available now on Anta.com as well as via Kicks Crew.
